Terms of use
These terms cover Nebular Nomad (the game) and this website. Both are run by Nuleaf Design in New Zealand. By playing the game or creating a pilot account, you agree to them.
Who can play
You need to be 13 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s OK. If you’re under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to create an account and have your pilot name and score shown publicly.
Your pilot account
- You choose a pilot name (3 to 14 letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens) and a password of at least 6 characters.
- Keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Please don’t reuse a password you use anywhere else.
- Logging in on a new device signs you out on your other devices.
- Names that are offensive, impersonate someone else or pretend to be us may be changed or removed, along with the account.
Fair play
Play the game as it’s meant to be played. Cheating, tampering with scores, using scripts or bots to submit scores, or exploiting bugs to get a score you couldn’t earn may get a score or an account removed. The game checks the scores it receives, and we can reject or remove any we don’t think are genuine.
The leaderboard is public
Your pilot name, best score and the level you reached are shown on the in-game leaderboard and on the Nebular Nomad website. Don’t use your real name or anything personal as your pilot name. Our privacy policy explains what else we store.
Using the game
Nebular Nomad is free to play and provided as it is. We don’t promise that it will always be available, free of bugs, or that it will keep your scores. We may change, pause or remove the game, reset the leaderboard or delete accounts at any time, with or without notice.
The game has flashing effects (for example when you pick up a Nova blast) and can vibrate your device. Take breaks, and stop playing if you feel unwell. Don’t play while doing anything that needs your attention, like driving.
Our content
Nebular Nomad, including its artwork, sound, music and code, belongs to Nuleaf Design or its licensors. You’re welcome to play it and share links to it. Please don’t copy, resell or republish the game or its content without our permission.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage from playing the game or using this website, including lost scores or data. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand law that can’t be excluded.
Removing your account
To have your account and score removed, email hello@nuleafdesign.co.nz with your pilot name. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts can hear any dispute about them.
