Information we collect

When you contact us or use our project enquiry assistant, you may choose to provide information such as:

• Your name and business or organisation name.
• Your email address and phone number.

• Your preferred contact method and approximate timeframe.
• Your budget or other information relevant to your enquiry.

You can choose to stop using the enquiry assistant before providing your contact details. Please avoid submitting passwords, payment details or other sensitive information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

How your information is stored

Information entered into the project enquiry assistant may be saved in your browser's local storage so you can retain your draft while using the website. This information remains in the browser profile on your device unless it is cleared or removed by your browser.

Other people with access to the same device or browser profile may be able to view information saved there. You can use the assistant's Clear control to remove the saved draft from that browser.

Information you submit to us by email is handled through the relevant email services and may be retained in our correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide our services, maintain business records or meet legal obligations.

How we use your information

We may use the information you provide to:

• Understand your project requirements.
• Respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
• Prepare proposals, estimates and project briefs.
• Discuss and deliver services you request.
• Maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations.

We do not need you to provide information that is unrelated to your enquiry. Please only share details you are comfortable providing for these purposes.

When information is shared

If you select the option to prepare an enquiry email, the website may open your configured email application with your project brief addressed to hello@nuleafdesign.co.nz. The website does not send that email automatically through this action. You can review, edit or close the message before deciding whether to send it.

If you send the email, the information included in it will be transmitted through your email provider and received by NuLeaf Design. We may also use service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our website, communicate with you or deliver our services. We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is handled appropriately.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Cookies, fonts and third-party services

Our website may use browser storage to retain your project enquiry draft. The website may also load fonts from Google Fonts, which can cause your browser to connect to Google's services. Those services may process technical information such as your IP address as part of delivering their content.

If additional analytics, embedded services or other third-party integrations are introduced, this policy may be updated to explain how they operate and what information they process.

Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure or alteration. However, no website, device or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. You may also contact us to discuss deletion of your information, subject to any legal or legitimate business record-keeping requirements.

To make a request, email hello@nuleafdesign.co.nz. Information saved only in your browser can be removed using the assistant's Clear control or your browser's site-data settings.

New Zealand privacy rights

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy law, including the Privacy Act 2020. This includes obligations relating to the collection, use, storage, access and correction of personal information.
